Retain control over the resale of tickets yourself
Prevent fraud by the resale of tickets on external platforms such as Marktplaats and Facebook. Make use of Atleta Resale.
Atleta Resale allows participants in the event of hindrance or injuries to safely resell their ticket. Via a special link that the participant can share, or via the public Atleta Resale embed that you, as an organizer, can place on your website.
With Atleta's advanced Resale technology, the old ticket is replaced by a new one.

Activate Resale
Resale is only allowed if you permit this as the organizer. From the Atleta's organizer dashboard, you indicate whether your participants are allowed to resell a ticket.

From Atleta's self-service dashboard, your participant themselves shares a personal link with someone they know or on the public resale page.
New QR
Atleta generates a new QR code and deactivates the old one. The new participant receives a confirmation email and the old participant gets his money automatically refunded.
Automatic refund
The amount is refunded to the seller once the ticket is sold. 5% of the sales price remains with the organizer. Additionally, the new participant pays a 5% service fee directly to Atleta.

What is Atleta Resale?
Atleta Resale is a platform for the resale of tickets for various sports events. The unique feature allows participants to safely resell tickets in case of inability to attend or injuries. Do I need to activate Atleta Resale?

Can I turn off Atleta Resale?
At Atleta, you can enable or disable Resale per ticket by going to your event in Atleta and clicking on the Resale tab.
What is the Resale platform?
Athlete Resale platform will become the central point for participants to safely resell their sports event tickets, without relying on external platforms. This allows the organizer to maintain control over registrations and prevent fraud by offering participants their own platform.
Are there costs for the organizer?
The organizer is exempt from Atleta fees for new registrations, but does bear the standard costs of the payment service provider, such as iDEAL and credit card fees. To cover these costs, Atleta automatically withholds 5% when refunding the purchase amount to the seller, in favor of the organizer. This not only provides coverage for transaction costs, but also makes additional financial resources available for investments in the event.
Can a participant resell a ticket with profit?
Atleta Resale aims for a fair resale of tickets. To prevent the resale of tickets at higher prices, participants are not allowed to make more profit from the resale than the original purchase amount. The ticket may be offered at a lower amount, though.
Why does the buyer pay a Resale fee of 5%?
To successfully launch Atleta Resale and improve and expand the technology in the coming years, we charge a Resale fee of 5% to the buyer. To ensure that the organizer does not incur any extra costs, 5% is also deducted when refunding the purchase amount to the seller.
